Eliza Jennings Director of Legal Affairs Griveas
Receives First Chair 2013 Rising Star Award
(Cleveland, Ohio) – Eliza Jennings, a nationally recognized and trusted expert in aging services, announced that Director of Legal Affairs Jennifer M. Griveas is a recipient of the First Chair 2013 Rising Star Award. The First Chair Awards is an annual selection of in-house counsel who have, through their hard work and innovation, made significant contributions to the legal community. The award program honors the top in-house counsel for their achievements in the past year in a wide range of categories.
Recipients were recognized at the First Chair Awards Event Conference and Gala August 28th, 2013, at University of Chicago’s Gleacher Center. Profiles of the recipients will also be featured in First Chair Magazine, an annual publication distributed in all 50 states to in-house counsel and partners at 250 of America’s largest law firms.
Griveas is an experienced attorney whose background includes litigation and employment counseling for corporate and nonprofit clients. Prior to joining Eliza Jennings in 2011, Griveas practiced law at Frantz Ward LLP, where she was an associate in the firm’s labor and employment and litigation groups.
Griveas holds a juris doctorate degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in journalism and mass communication from Kent State University, both conferred cum laude. She is a member of the Ohio State and Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Associations, as well as the American Health Lawyers Association.
