Eliza Jennings Employees Honored for Delivery of Outstanding Care

(Cleveland, Ohio, May 25, 2013) Twenty-seven employees of Eliza Jennings recently were honored for outstanding employment service during the 2013 STARS Employee Recognition Luncheon. The STARS program is hosted by LeadingAge Ohio, the advocate of not-for-profit services for older Ohioans, and the LeadingAge Ohio Resident Forum, comprised of association member residents and clients.

The following Devon Oaks employees were honored at this year’s luncheon: Betsy MacPherson, LPN – Olmsted Township; Samira Mustafa, Dietary Server – Westlake; and Kristen Knight, Resident Assistant – Amherst.

The following Eliza Jennings employees were recognized: Jean Hale, STNA – Cleveland; Katherine Johnson, STNA – Cleveland; Louis Sanovich, Maintenance technician – Cleveland; Cheveise Thomas, STNA – Cleveland; Shannon Fink, STNA – Cleveland; and Ryan Stark, STNA – Cleveland.

The regional STARS luncheon recognizes front-line employees of not-for-profit providers of services for older Ohioans nominated by their employer, residents or resident families for exemplary service. The program takes place with eight regional celebrations throughout Ohio and this year will recognize over 400 outstanding employees statewide in the not-for-profit senior services profession.

“We are proud of the service we provide to older adults and this pride is never more evident than in watching the dedication of our valued employees on a daily basis,” said Deborah Lewis Hiller, President and CEO. “It is an honor to recognize these exemplary staff members, who truly represent the not-for-profit difference we provide older Ohioans.”
