We chose Devon Oaks after a lot of research because we saw a level of care for residents that gave us the confidence that mom would have a home, not just a place to live. Everybody at D.O. cares about mom and all the residents. It is so comforting to know that no matter the day or time, there are people surrounding mom who are focused on her. Never in a million years could we thank you enough for the love and care you took with our mom over the last year. The outpouring of concern, gentleness, and love was so evident, especially when she was most in need. The nurses and caretakers coming into her room to reassure her and tell her that they loved her, and that she was special, brings tears to our eyes and we are forever grateful. The work that all of you do is truly the work of God's hands. Please never forget that. The impact you have on others is immeasurable. While lovingly caring for my mom, you maintained her human dignity in situations that are not always easy nor glamorous. Not many people can do that with the grace you did.

My mom felt loved and secure in her last days here. The soothing and peaceful environment you provided allowed our loved ones to gather around to pray with her, share stories, sing with her, laugh, and hold her hand in her final hours. We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.

Words cannot express how grateful our family is for the loving care your provided to our mom these past four years in assisted living and memory care. Memory care was a difficult decision, but your compassion and patience and dedication made her home away from home a fun, safe, and peaceful place.

You did more than just care for her…you brought her warmth and dignity to her daily life. Thank you for noticing the small details, cheering her up on difficult days and treating her with professional kindness. We are so thankful for the peace of mind you gave us knowing she was in good hands. You all are truly special, and we never forget the kindness you showed mom and our entire family!!
